" Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail… "
Ralph Waldo Emerson
You can write your will during your lifetime, through which you make a bequest to Foundation Cœur Maghrébin after your death. Your legacy to FCM may cover a part or the whole of your wealth and a contact with FRB on the one hand, your lawyer on the other hand, will help you to clarify your commitment. |

A bequest is a donation that can be established only by will. The bequest can cover a part or the whole of your wealth, composed by cash, securities, art, movables or real estate, usufruct or naked ownership. The bequest becomes effective only when the testator dies.
In Belgium, The Fondation Roi Baudouin benefits from a special rate and must only pay 6.6% to 8% (depending on where you are domiciled) of inheritance and mutation taxes. This means that your bequest maximum backs up to the common purpose.
